Formsy® can integrate with compatible third-party systems, allowing information captured in your completed forms to be securely passed to other software and services — reducing re-keying and helping automate the next step in your workflow.
What can an integration do?
The exact integration depends on the system involved, but an API connection can be used to securely send compatible data captured in Formsy® to other software and services your business relies on.
Reduce duplicate entry
For example, invoice information could be sent to compatible accounting software without somebody having to enter the same details again.
Connect to industry services
Where suitable APIs are available, Formsy® can be integrated with external services. This includes planned integration with DEFRA's Digital Waste Tracking service.
Bespoke to your requirements
There is no single standard integration because every third-party platform exposes different APIs, authentication methods and data structures.
We'll first establish what information you want Formsy® to send, review the technical options available and then confirm whether the integration is feasible.
An integration could include
- Sending completed form data to another system
- Sending invoice information to compatible accounting software
- Planned submission of relevant waste data to DEFRA, subject to completion and approval of the integration
- Mapping Formsy® fields to the receiving system
- Using secure authentication

How much does API integration cost?
API integration is not included in the standard monthly subscription. Integrations are quoted separately because the amount of development and testing required varies significantly between systems.
API integration is available regardless of which Formsy® subscription you use, subject to the technical capabilities of the third-party system.
